Monday 1/11 J.Brierton,1 Today we read Chapter 6 Section 3 in our textbook beginning on Pg.244 and completed the assignment listed below.
-Identify 4-6 problems workers faced. -Name the Unions, their leaders and goals. -List major strikes of the era, and the causes, effects, and issues of each. -List tactics used by management and the government to put pressure on the Unions.

Tuesday 1/12 J. Brierton,1 Today we listened to the song "16 Tons" during class. We identified pieces of information from the lyrics that related to the assignment we did yesterday.

Today in class we were given two images, one of a old immigrant and one of a new immigrant. We found literal information and made inferences about the two pictures. Afterwards we made a list in our notebooks about where the two different types of immigrants could've came from.

Sunday 1/17 Caston Shields, 1 Coming up this week is the unit test on Tuesday, 1/20. Remember to fill out everything in your notebook. Also, on Friday, 1/22, 3 copies of process papers are due. Make sure to work on your project throughout the week.
