Monday 2/1 T. Coker, 1 History fair. We finished up history fair presentations in class. we then had some time to work on our new vocabulary terms. The vocab is due this Thursday along with the vocabulary test Thursday.

Tuesday 2/2 T. Coker 1 Notes We began class with a bell ringer reviewing problems farmers faced. we then did another review on this topic by drawing a 'web' on page 8 in your notebooks, along with writing a letter to a newspaper editor from the point of view of a farmer in that time period on page 7. This leading into new notes on the Granger movement and populist.
Thursday, 2/4 C. Miller,1 The Wizard of Oz Collected: Vocab notebooks Materials Distributed: The Wizard of OZ passage and matching character sheet. In class we took the #4 vocab quiz and watched sections of the Wizard of Oz movie to figure out what most of the characters in the movie represented in the passage.
Friday, 2/5 Ryan McDonald, 1 Populism Nothing was collected. We were given The Temperance Movement Article Questions. Film notes on The Wizard of Oz Brief notes on The End of Populism and Election of 1892 Started the Progressive Era Timeline of Events. Superbowl is this Sunday.
Sunday, 2/7 Ryan McDonald, 1 What is going on this coming week: Super bowl is today. This week we will be learning about the Progressive Era Finish the Progressive Era Timeline Finish The Temperance Movement Article Questions
